Theater De Oranjerie, Roermond
The hall of Theater De Oranjerie in Roermond is going through a major renovation since its inauguration in 1974. This renovation consists of increasing the hall volume, of adding floor lifts with a new seating arrangement and of adding variable acoustics. The hall will then accommodate corporate events along with cultural performances. Furthermore, Roermond wants to play a role as a center for wind orchestras.

In order to tune the hall's acoustics of Theater de Oranjerie, the conductor Martijn Pepels invited a chamber music orchestra composed of local musicians and some of the members of Kahle Acoustics (Otávio Colella, first violin, and Eckhard Kahle, viola). After the first rehearsal with a chamber orchestra, a rehearsal was held the next day with Harmonieorkest Concordia from Melick, conducted by Patrick Spelthaen, to further fine-tune the room acoustically.
